Maria is originally from Saragossa, Spain but is currently residing in London.

In 2006, Maria got a Masters Degree in English and graduated from the Conservatorio Superior de Musica at Saragossa. Until she moved to London in January 2008 she was a member of the "Orquesta Sinfonica del Conservatorio Superior de Musica de Aragon" (OSCSMA) and "Camerata Aragon" as well as a principal cellist of the "Orquesta Clasica Universitaria", "Orquesta del Teatro Lirico" (Spanish light opera) and "Orquesta Sinfonica de Monzon" (OSMO). With all of them, she performed in numerous concerts in different cities throughout Spain. She was a member of the "Nova Classic" String Quartet and "Zahori" Quintet with whom she got the "Special Prize of the Public" at the "Teodoro Ballo" National Chamber Music Contest in Saragossa (2006).

Since moving to London she has played with several symphonic orchestras such as "Westminster Philharmonic" (WPO), "I Maestri", "Philharmonia Britannica", "London Neophonic Orshestra"; She has been a member of the "Cellestial Cello Quartet" (Oct 09 - Jan 10) and "Happy Penguin Hungry Bear" band (Aug 09 - Jan 10). She has also performed in John Eacott's Southbank "Flood Tide 2010", Goodwood Vintage Festival (Aug 10), "Nine", "The Pajama Game", "Sweeney Todd", “Follies” and “The Last Five Years” musicals.
She is on board of a new musical project, "1916" and is delighted to be playing with the London Tango Orchestra (LTO).
